Thomas Carlyle's resting place in public-spirited clean-up Dumfries and Galloway Standard Historian Thomas Carlyle is buried in the cemetery next to Johnstone Parish Church in Ecclefechan. Members of Annan Rotary Club noticed that the grave could do with some TLC last September and offered to carry out the work this spring. |
